The new Packet Squirrel got a bit of an update. I don’t know how much of an upgrade, but the type c usb is an improvement alone. Hopefully the price justifies it, and will check it out once I get my hands on one. An alternative is of course something like this: https://www.gl-inet.com/products/gl-ar300m/

I do wish there were more boards that had the Ethernet layout, though. That is just handy.

My only gripe with hak5 is that a lot of them are not for beginners, and you should not buy their toys as a beginner just starting out unless you are a professional or like me who hoards hardware to see what works or what doesn’t.
