For anyone wondering: it’s about Georgia, USA, not the country Georgia.
TBH, no one looks at police shooting and thinks it’s the country Georgia and not Georgia, USA.
There’s 3 times as many people in the state of Georgia vs. the country of Georgia. Kinda makes sense that it’s the default.
Also, probably way more police shootings
Does the right to protest include the right to be violent?
For cops, absolutely
Do you have any examples of the cop city protestors being violent? Also, what does that have to do with the RICO charges?
No officers were injured during the incident, though police noted that “the illegal actions of the agitators could have resulted in bodily harm.” Some of those arrested sustained minor injuries.
Who are the violent people in this story? The ones who didn’t hurt a single person or the group that hurt people? Kinda hard to call the people that didn’t hurt a single living thing terrorists while the ones that are professionally trained to deescalate couldn’t do their jobs without causing bodily harm.
They were trying to harm the police, why should the police be expected to wait until someone gets hurt before reacting?
why should the police be expected to wait until someone gets hurt before reacting?
Idk, ask the Uvalde police why they waited.
