I have bought several thinkpads and the keyboard and touchpad byttons are just so much better than on other laptops. Too bad the company has been fairly disappointing lately, but there is a plethora of thinkpads second hand that are still going strong especially the X and P series.

    Oh how I miss r/thinkpads… but I’m not going back to Reddit, just as I’m not returning to Twitter any time soon.

    Honestly despite getting somewhat worse in the newer models I still find them head and shoulders above most other laptops in durability and keyboard feel.

    Excited for the new 16:10 ones. Not that I’ll buy them new. Off business lease on eBay or bust!

    I’ve gone thru a few models, this series of devices has been great to work with. Easy to upgrade, simple design, and sturdy.
