This was from the height of the pandemic when many grocery stores were closed, food was scarce due to supply chain issues, it was Thanksgiving, and people were suddenly out of work due to stay-at-home orders.

Nevertheless, hunger and lack of social services is a very real problem, but I just wanted to contextualize the image for anyone else seeing this 3yo post.
