    You may not know, but kind of the core developers of lemmy uses the name dessalines.

    Since that’s the case, the name is an obvious target for trolls, spammers, etc. That’s what those accounts are/were.

    It was impersonation until they were banned. Some spammers used these accounts to spam gore and stuff

          See you try to just find one thing shitty people are good at, extract the most usefulness from them and when they change into their final form you ban em, dispose of em, whatever gets the most isolation for the lowest legal penalty.

          And while they sit in their corner and rage (if still alive), you make sure to take great pleasure in pointing and laughing.
