Or how about this, the US is in every position to comment on whatever aspects of the apartheid state we so feel. The author worries about Israel’s enemies getting “adventurous” if they sense a rift in US/Israeli relations. Oh well, I guess they’ll have to use some of the $4ish billion in military aid the US gives them yearly. Perhaps the US needs to pick friends with values closer to it’s own (purported) ethos instead of supporting a little brother who’s being a bully.
