In the end all the favorites made it through. While I wasn’t sure whether germany or Italy would win, I still saw Germany as slight favourites there, given Italy’s recent poor performance at (qualifications for) tournaments. Both semis are looking very interesting. I personally hope for a rematch of the not-a-final final of the last Euros between Germany and Spain.
