Imagine someone thinking that Gaza is about Americans more than it is about Israelis or Palestinians.
If the US stopped supporting Israel, they’d be forced to look for more diplomatic solutions for their security.
It’s equal parts America and Israel. It’s easy to say “it’s on the other side of the world”, but America provides logistics, diplomatic cover and military assistance (see: Yemen) that Israel would never have on its own. The unsinkable aircraft carrier stuff goes both ways.
