While Tor is useful in several situations, probably we shouldn’t believe in it blindly. For clearnet, LibreWolf is a great option too, and I2P might be the future.

PS: Needless to say, most Monero-related tools work more or less over Tor. The official GUI has the “Socks5 proxy” option, which Tor-ifies Internet connections [try 127.0.0.1 port 9050 while running Tor.
