Ithaquas Bane, a youtuber that focuses on solo-rpgs, tools, and print-and-play games has done a very cool walkthrough of my Wallet Stations micro die drop generator. He’s previously also covered a couple other generators I’ve released.
It’s super rewarding as an indie RPG writer to see other people actually engage with something I’ve written.
I especially like how he takes what the generator produces, then tweaks and modifies it to suite his own needs. The coolest stuff I’ve seen created with my generators doesn’t use the output as is, instead it’s when people use it as a starting point for creating something deeper that it really shines.
(Not sponsored or affiliated or anything, although I did mail him some physical copies of my stuff after a prior video.)
Ooh, this is a fun idea. Tools like this are some of the best examples of limitation sparking creativity. Plus now I’m seeing all your other projects, and they’re all looking genuinely helpful.
