      I think Garfield comics are more like dad jokes, they only exist to cause suffering in others to the benefit of the creator. Jim Davis got us good on this one.

        1. I’m pretty sure it’s not “only for kids”, which is why y’all are posting it on Lemmy?
        2. It wouldn’t even be funny to kids
        3. Usually kids’ media gets to be more comedic than average
        4. “It’s for kids” will always be one of the laziest, stupidest excuses for something not to be good
