The real beauty was reading the entire comic first, and only then getting to the title
I was confused at first
I thought all 6 was 1 joke, like the standard 1 joke per comic, right?
Then I saw the Stones, and thought the cadence was … 3 rows 3 jokes and the background colors are green (first row), grey (second row), and then … no I’m overthinking this
Then I saw Zeppelin in the 3rd row.
Oh, it’s 6 jokes!!!
Eventually I got all the jokes. So that’s my accomplishment for the day.
I got to the 4th box and was so confused that I decided to read the title.
I read the comic before the title. The story was very confusing…
I read the title as Brand Names and I was trying to figure out what the mystery brands were, until I realized it said bands.
I wish there were more commenters so someone else would have already asked for help on this one - but I get to be that dumb guy today. Rolling stones… What are the others
Counting Crows
Rolling Stones
Grateful Dead
Def Leppard
Led Zeppelin
The Doors
Ah, I thought it was 2 Doors Down then realized that band is called 3 Doors Down but then realized there is a obscure band called 2 Doors Down. Also, who are The Doors?
It was nice seeing Jamie Hyneman’s realisation when the mythbusters [Adam] proposed making a lead balloon that would actually float.
Yeesh. All you lot saying “The Doors” for the last panel - it’s clearly “Two Door Cinema Club” (it was genuinely the first band that popped into my head when I saw the pic)
I thought it was “Two Doors Down”.
Counting Crows
Rolling Stones
Grateful Dead
Def Leopard
Led Zeppelin
The Doors
Counting Crows seems a bit out of place among the others. They’re all classic rock bands except Counting Crows.
Let’s see what I can come up with…
[A pile of red peppers]
[A portrait of a family, but the children are being pointed at by arrows]
[A forest of anthropomorphic trees, screaming]
[A picture of heaven with an enlightened soul as the center piece]
[The word “avenge” writen on a piece of paper that is folded 7 times]
[A man jerking off]
I feel old that I understood all of these right away.
Deaf Leopard was formed 46 years ago in 1977.
Well… I was 9 when they formed. What’s your point?
Wait wait, I’ve got another one!
[Two male Neanderthals dressed in female Neanderthal clothing and makeup]
