8·13 hours agoIt takes a bit of time to refresh on other instances. On the home instance, it is correct:https://lemmy.world/u/jeannoelhurpeau

6·18 hours agoI’m a regular Piefed/PyLova defender, but I tend to ignore the “political” aspect.
I prefer Piefed/PyLova mostly for the feeds and comments consolidation features. Otherwise I generally agree with your comment.

PieFed Meta@piefed.social•Added the feeds sidebar to old.piefed!English
2·21 hours agoI’m going to focus on the old. interface for now, but hopefully someone else can try to add the same sidebar to the default UI. PyLova has a similar sidebar already: https://quokk.au/

10·2 days agoHello,
Thank you for posting those aricles. I wouldn’t worry too much about crossposting, as you can see from the comments, there are apps and other software that deals with this better, so you shouldn’t refrain too much.

Fediverse@lemmy.world•Is there a way to not see duplicate of the same topic across different communities?English
9·2 days agoPiefed merges posts (and has an indicator with the number of crossposts , on the same level as the comments counter see https://piefed.zip/c/privacy@programming.dev ) in the feed view.

41·2 days agoHey,
Note sure if you’ve seen, but we’ve been making quite a few improvements to “old.piefed”, you can see a deployed version on https://old.piefed.zip/
It’s getting really close to feature parity (I added yesterday emoji reactions, title fetching and usernames and communities autocompletion) with the default Piefed UI, offering another option for people who want to give it a try on their phone. I do it myself, it works.
It’s not the same as a full fledged app, but while I can get around web development, mobile is a completely different beast, and I’m also not sure how happy mobile app devs are with external contributions, especially created using Claude.
