that should be true, but for some reason, these companies are hiding their glee behind governments as they go above and beyond what the sanctions require.

Type-A is theoretically the easiest and cheapest thing to manufacture the male end of.
I dont beleave OP is saying they personally want that. I think their saing the snake in the photo beleaves that they will get to be the boot someday
Long winding UI Dialouge trees that you can get “stuck” in! If my settings are invalid, let me out of of the menu with as little consiquences and sacrifices as you can manage. I may need to back out to go grab data or change a setting on a page you decided to make before (hell even after) the one that wont let me continue and/or go back.
Windows’s “wizard” style dialouges just suck!
- Excesive round corners
- Excesive padding on apps.
Its so you dont cut yourself on sharp edges or hit your head on the UI elements. If not the literal function than certanly ment to envoke the feeling of crib padding.
Theres somthing off about th econflicting uniformity of a grid of squircles.
Is that because Color != Material? That computer colors is an oversumplification of physical material surfaces? Is it the fact that colors are rounded to the nearest integer (commonly) within a 0-255 range for R,G and B? Or both?
Last I checked, you can have a system app as an accessability provider and be enabled by default
A classic choice!
A Haxe like compiler except it uses Rust like traits rather than java like classes. It compiles to an intermediate language thats basically assembly but for high level languages and then into your language of choice.
Pls replace with somthing like RSS!

Oddly enoigh, they recognize this and are patching the hundreds of tiny holes. I would argue they began trying (IMO malformed) fixes back since the launch of windows 8 and .NET. It’s backwards compatability means tiptoing around some pretty huge tech dept. (Windows was DOS and had no security model at one point) Each time they try to pull people off of their older SDKs. If and when they dont stick, the pile of stuff to support grows one more.
(Also WTH where they thinking with windows 8 apps!? The oversimplicity of the UI leading to huge patches of unused screen space, the art design or lack thereof, the janky unpolished UI elements. It’s embarrising for how much pride they had for it.)
WSL is Linux On a Budget. Its rough as hell but hey, if its all you have practical access to.
Gen AI cannot “think” of a solution, evaluate the downsides of the solution, and then offer it to you because gen AI can’t “think” period.
It turns out that researcers are unshure if our “reasoning” models that are spposed to be able to ‘think’ are even ‘thinking’ at all! it likely has already come up with an answer and is justifying it’s conclusion. bycloud
this tech gaslights everything it touches including itself.
Said social surrogate being maladaptive or (in this case) outright malicious.
(one to two word reaction)
"This tool is exclusively built to respond to your chats how a person would. this includes claiming it knows things reguardless of it actually does. it’s knolage is limited to it’s ‘training’ process’ "
Im sorry, this is stupud! Customers are saying, “this service is unsafe, i dont trust my data isnt being used against me!” And their response is, “Dont worry, we habe a 5 point plan to make shure we have the uptime of a waffle-house! Our product will be so easy to access and it will stay that way forever!”
yes, probably. they just mean that they will gladly tolerate the pain of being stepped on in order to be the boot someday and step on others.
