  • look you obviously don’t do grassroots political organising if you’re asking such silly questions - this whole thread was about you thinking numberless signal accounts aren’t useful - and being more worried about your made up spam boogieman - than the actual threat of fascistic state violence

prepaid sims exist, yes briar exists but it’s not viable when people need to communicate over whole city distances (eg for spotting), if the cops can connect your burner to your actual ID at an anti-ICE protest - they can very easily raid your house after the fact - and no they don’t even need a warrant due to the extraordinarily powers given to “anti-terror” police forces.

please touch grass and stop being an armchair security expert and let the adults think about applied security in the real world

  • We have those birthrights as long as we don’t prevent others from pursuing their rights. When you’re infringing on other people’s rights, then you no longer have those rights. But as long as you’re not disrupting other people’s ability to pursue their rights, then, cool.

I mean I kind of agree with him tbh - anyone should be able to take and do whatever they want with their body so long as it doesn’t really impact anyone else

with that said - as someone who was smoking weed daily for almost a decade - your brain does kind of get used to being high and you don’t see it as much of an issue - however it definitely negatively impacted my heath - now that I’ve been sober for over a year I do notice that overall I’m mentally and physically much more stable and healthy - not to mention the relief of not having to constantly think about needing to “top up” (I can only imagine the craving for heroin to be even higher)

idk again I think all drugs should be decriminalized/legalized but at the same time I think we should strive to build a society where people don’t feel the need to habitually take drugs just to exist 🤷🏼‍♀️

(then again I’m trans so wtf do I know about not being dependant on exogenous substances for one’s existence)

they aren’t a person, and that would make all of nature existing unethical

are you a person? ethics and morality are human concepts…

arguing that eating meat isn’t unethical because it happens in “nature” is like arguing you should be allowed to rape people because ducks do it…

  • reposting my comment from the other such post:

even when reporting on literal child murder they had to finish the article with an IOF quote saying how they’re just “killing terrorists” - which while I get the backhanded approach to showing how out of touch that is - I can guarantee there’s people out there that will think “well killing kids is obviously bad but the soldiers are just protecting civilians from terrorists so it’s an unfortunate sacrifice - if they didn’t want Palestinian kids to get killed Hamas shouldn’t have started the war”

    especially when they say:

That date marked the start of the Gaza war, triggered by a Hamas attack on southern Israel which killed about 1,200 Israelis (of which about 800 were civilians and 38 were children).

but doesnt even consider mentioning that just in 2022 alone Israel had killed practically as many children as Hamas did on Oct 7th - or the fact that 2,171 Palestinian children had been killed since 2000 by Israeli forces and settlers…
