Props to this small indie developer who’s worked tirelessly to launch this relatively unknown app promptly on Apple Watch

I realize it may seem hard, but if you make yourself strictly available on Signal, over time, your contacts on Signal do grow. Because that’s where you’re available. And you don’t make yourself available in other platforms. People want to talk to you. Be available and a good experience to talk to on Signal. My Signal contacts are now nearing triple digits, and it’s fantastic.

My job uses WhatsApp for staff messaging. My boss will not switch off it.

I only use WhatsApp for work.

          🤷‍♂️

While I hate WhatsApp on principle, it’s the primary form of communication in a shocking number of countries. Last place i saw it used like this was Costa Rica.

Sure… and so is smashing your watch with a hammer while you’re still wearing it. But neither of them are a good idea for your apple watch or your health.

No doubt, but with 2 billion users and 76% of UK adults using it, it’s a welcome addition for those who use it as their primary messaging app.
