    Did you know that UART serial doesn’t need a clock wire to synchronize communication in the way that I2C does?

    I didn’t know this, but I’ll now sleep soundly tonight knowing this! :D

    What will the presence detectors be for? Switching on and off lights?

      (So apparently with UART, you just set a “baud rate” which tells both devices what speed to operate at, which I think is cheating. Long live the holy clock wire!)

      And yep – literally, just want it to switch on my hallway lights, as well as turn on some internal cameras when a presence is detected inside and I’m not actually home :O
