Title, I basically want to see a book that would be like a technical book on science or engineering or naval strategy if it weren’t fiction.

More than I am used to. Maybe one every 75-100 pages or something like that
Jurassic Park has illustrations along the story that “explain” what chaos is. The book is significantly “harder” than the movie, I feel. Is this what you are looking for?

Can I ask you the reason? I really enjoyed it, but i read it in my teens and don’t remember much.
I don’t really remember either, mostly just found it underwhelming and a waste of potential. Never watched the movies as a result.
