I can’t help but raise my eyebrows at this fb friend from the same university na ngayon nagbebenta ng pyramid schemey food supplement products. Parang sayang yung science degree niya. And then I remember, ah, siya pala yung panay flex nung pera niya or something tapos wala daw ambag sa mga groupwork. My friend really hated this dude, I never really understood it.
Malapit ko na 'to i-unfriend. I keep seeing supplements that’s probably not very effective tapos a wad of thousand peso bills beside it, you know those kinds of photos. For some reason I find it nauseating.
Anyway. I had this dream where kinukulit ko daw yung instructor/lecturer sa class namin about a burning question about some topic. It was a very productive dream because my dream self was finally able to ask questions that were just swirling confusingly in my head, unable to organize it and speak it out.
You know how you want to ask something but you don’t even know what to ask or how to start in the first place? That’s my problem. So I just kept going at it and finally something is clicking into place. Good job, dream self. That bothered us a lot.
Sayang at medyo late ko na nalaman mga MLM or I would have been able to warn my coworkers/friends. Literally 95% of the entire office invested on another coworker who claimed that with his elite dev skills, he can accurately predict how stocks work and could double your profit. Naniwala naman sila kasi may return (that was revealed to be him just taking money from newer investors) so they kept pouring more money into it, reaching to their college savings, bank accounts, and other friends.
Nalaman na lang nila something was awry nung wala na pera nabibigay sa kanila (no more new recruits in conjunction with the guy losing a huge chunk of money to vices) and he ultimately didn’t show up for work and went on the run.
MLM style posts, MLM is a pyramid scheme scam no matter how people spin it to be.

Tonight’s Ask PHLemmy: What did sex ed definitely not prepare you for?
There’s a sex ed class? If there ever was, I wasn’t aware of it or couldn’t remember anything, so it didn’t prepare me for anything
It was around 4th grade, but I don’t really called it sex-ed. It’s just “Reproductive System”
That it can be incredibly messy. I immediately wash up after.
Also very important: Don’t forget to take a piss asap. This is how UTI usually starts.
They don’t exactly teach it on sex ed (read: Health subject sa school), but people often mistake porn with realistic/doable sex only to realize that the stars have to perfectly align for you to be able to replicate most of it.
Just to cite one example: When you’re aroused, it can be painfully difficult to get your “implement” to not magnetically cling to your abdomen. Male porn stars have surgery to prevent this.
Sorry kung medyo x-rated, lmao.
Our catholic school surprisingly gave us a semi useful but very awkward sex ed class during our 4th year of highschool. Nagpe-present yung teacher namen ng slides via over head projector with pictures ng contraceptives, both natural and artificial ones.
Eto yung spiel nya: “This is a {contraceptive}, ganito sya ginagamit, pero wag nyo gamitin sa boyfriend/girlfriend nyo”
Anyways, dun sa question, I was not prepared to be rejected by OBGYNs nung nanghingi ako ng prescription for contraceptives citing “artificial contraceptives is against my beliefs.”
Longer comments. Whenever I read it through and comprehend, my bullshitAI detector activates.
