Back when bitcoin mining was a novelty that was still feasible on a decent graphics card, I mined seven bitcoins. I kept everything on an external spinning rust drive. In the process of a move, the external drive was lost to wherever shit goes when you move house.
I’ve never figured out what happened to it, and for a long time I looked for it. When I used to drink booze I would get buzzed on an occasional weekend and look through my storage unit.
It’ll never show back up, and like a lot of things in my life is so far in the past that it is of no use to get all hot n bothered about it. Ships in the night, or whatever.

I looked into mining, and I could’ve earned 5-6 btc a month, at the time about $3 a coin so I decided against it.
Thing is if I had, I was just a high schooler and would’ve cashed it out to get dominos pizza or whatever
I think I cashed out the $100 of Bitcoin I had to help pay for a PS3. Today it would be worth like $15k
I spent like $100 on acid back when it was ~$2500 back in the day, oopsies!
I only had like 1.5 because i grabbed a basic CPU miner and ran it on all the computers in my highschool computer lab for a bit.
Mine was on an old laptop with ubuntu on it that is long gone. I also spent a bit too long looking for it
I have probably less than 1BTC from mining a thousand years ago. I haven’t looked for it yet but I’m sure I will eventually lol.
