I would’ve removed this post if I saw it earlier. It’s an interesting article (that surprisingly hasn’t been posted anywhere else yet) but it documents another problem in our society, not any sort of progress or resolution. I would remove, say, “The fight to release the double-tap boat strike video” even if we didn’t have the toxic politics rule.

The successful fight is why I posted it here. Sorry to be so controversial with it.

This happens in swimming too. The racing suits that the girls wear (called tech suits) need to be very form-fitting to get the best streamlining in the water. What they don’t need, however, is translucent body panels that make the girls look like they are wearing bikinis underneath. It’s gotten better in the past couple of seasons where they are offering different patterns and colors of suits. But the problem remains with the basic black suits.

The first picture on this blog is an example. https://www.proswimwear.co.uk/blog/the-swimmers-guide-to-buying-a-tech-suit/ That suit is probably the least bad among the leading brands. And that’s not just coloring on the suit, it’s actually see through.
