Give users the power to pass all submissions through their chosen AI prompt for paraphrasing/summaries.

you will summarize and reword each title like you're a sarcastic asshole that tells the brutal truth when it is least desired.

I just passed your title through an AI with that prompt and it says:

How do we fast-track the bot-slop so we can finally stop pretending anyone here has an original thought?

    🤣

We need all posts to be read only except for input from the big LLMs. People are free to make posts, but only LLM comments are allowed. We’re all too toxic, so the pleasant AI will make us think everyone suddenly got polite. Except for responses from grok, they’ll still be a bit pissy.

The roles are reversed in communities focused on art and photography. All posts are AI and the comments can be both.

Ditch the web interface in favor of native desktop apps. AI queries will be distributed among logged-in users’ PCs, turning the Lemmy user base into a distributed data center. Users will have post, comment, and vote rate limits tied to their computational contributions, incentivizing participation and the use of higher-end hardware.

Since mobile users will have drastically reduced compute capabilities, they will contribute to the community differently: mobile apps will include telemetry and ads. Money raised from mobile ads will go directly to the Lemmy developers.
