Basically I’m stuck inside trying to keep my mind busy

Please… tell me something interesting

Send me a nice picture of a cloud

I cannot sleep well when I’m sick and time flows like from a leaky faucet

Have you read any books on the climate crisis that you particularly enjoyed, or that gave you good insight?

Have you ever had any encounters with extraterrestrials or cryptids? Could you make one up?

Why do you want to work at this company?

Unlike most snakes, garter snakes are semi social and brumate together.

reticulated pythons are the only snakes known to have eaten people.

A lot of lizards bob their head to assert dominance, but bearded dragons are known for doing it all the time

Most lizards have trouble running and breathing at the same time, however monitor lizards have evolved special muscles that let them force air into their lungs using their throat while running (gular pumping).

Honestly have fallen a bit out of the loop on climate stuff the last few months. James Hansen recently put out some temp predictions for the next couple years which I thought was interesting, I’ll find it. All mailings

    From the latest mailing:

Global temperature in 2025 declined 0.1°C from its El Nino-spurred maximum in 2024, making 2025 the second warmest year. The 2023-2025 mean is +1.5°C relative to 1880-1920. The 12-month running-mean temperature should decline for the next few months, reaching a minimum about +1.4°C. Later in 2026, we expect the 12-month running-mean temperature to begin to rise, as dynamical models show development of an El Nino. We project a global temperature record of +1.7°C in 2027, which will provide further confirmation of the recent global warming acceleration
