This is kinda meaningless without context of class. The US is not specifically concerned for the rights of pedos, it’s about giving the rich and powerful complete immunity to do whatever they want to lower class people. They’d have no problems executing working class pedophiles, in fact they’d probably be happy to set precedents for that so they can start killing “groomers” (read: gay and trans people).

I looked up the article (CW sex crimes) and while the three guys who China killed did some really heinous stuff, they weren’t people in positions of power. Not sure if I wanna cheer for the state executing people like that, no matter how bad their crimes.
