lol this absolutely does not happen, there are entire industries dedicated to providing their justifications for them. at most they will be like “wow all the hard choices I had to make… for the greater good maybe… mortals can never really know… I’m a profound thinker for having these thoughts”
Yeah, two things I left out in this post. One, it’s a total fantasy with no basis in reality at all. Two, if you pull at the thread of “the way I feel for no reason” it will probably unravel into “the way I feel specifically because I’m forced to live in the very world these people have created”
