That’s one thing I do not miss from old phpbb forum culture. Annoying flashing gifs, catchy lines that get old quick. People putting a paragraph of text there so even a simple two word response is huge. Half the people who use them aren’t half as clever as they think they are and the other half aren’t clever enough to make up for it.
