Lemmy recognises hashtags and creates links with them to hashtag searches on your masto instance, which actually nice. What I wanted to test was whether a lemmy post using a hashtag will get recognised and available in the corresponding hashtag filter/search on masto. Unfortunately, the latest version of lemmy has a federation issue ATM.
