Considering that us People very much so live in a Bubble and are (atleast what itd assume to be :P) not as Teach Illerate as our “Mainstream Peers” that chill on Twitter and Instagram and the likes :P
I am wondering as to what would be the best Way to make these Platforms more Mainstream as we are obviously quite small sadly :(
I have been thinking of probably the biggest Flow being mayyybe to get some more “Big” People interested in Things like Peertube but i doubt theyre followers unless they move off Twitter will move to Mastodon as well :(
But also i feel like that we do not have NSFW Alternative Instances so that even NSFW People like ARtists who are intrested in Tech cant seem to move really as well :(

The gold thing about all this is that its not big and not mainstream. Leaving big tech means also creating a different way oft using the Internet. In the glorious days you could find a weird corner full of weirdous just like you without anyone trashing the hole thing with their hate for your weird little interest. (Wie also had some unchecked childporn, so we need to find a way to not allow stuff like that without tracking every step of everybody else)

    https://fedinsfw.app/: Am I a joke to you?

And honestly, I get the impression that even most threadiverse users aren’t using peertube. The content creaters you know and love are on YouTube, and it’s a significant time investment to sus out which peertube creaters are interesting to watch. Plus I vaguely remember that the last time I tried using Peertube, the website(s) itself wasn’t great; I think it was a mix of bad performance and unfamiliar and possibly not-as-obvious-as-you’d-like UI.

Seconding your remark about creators being on YouTube. I’m a big consumer of YouTube videos, and the only reason why I’m not (much) on peertube is because of the content.

A reason why peertube isn’t as popular among creators is the lack of monetization. While I would love for monetization not to be a factor, it’s a simple truth that many of the creators do what they do to pay rent a d their phone bills.

So until kofi, patreon, or similar funding methods overtake ads in revenue source, there’s not much of a reason for creators to upload to peertube.

I thought they already did. The creators I know who talk about it in their videos/streams always say that YouTube pays practically nothing nowadays, compared other revenue streams like Twitch donations, Patreon or sponsorships. Though those also scale to the amount of viewers you have, so the smaller audience on Peertube is still pretty directly the issue.
