Hisense Smart TV owners are reporting a new ad placement that goes beyond the usual home-screen tiles and sponsored recommendations: a mandatory advertisement shown immediately after powering on the TV.
Monitors are an excellent alternative. I use one with a Fire TV stick in my garage gym (still a data mining nightmare though). Still looking for an alternative to the Amazon TV stick. I’m making a lounge media/emulation PC and really want to be able to use Plasma bigscreen and hope it works well.
Remember when TVs were just displays and nothing more?
