Not about whether they’re read, but the long list of comments and posts? Seems tedious having to get rid of them one by one.

You can’t. PieFed deletes read notifications automatically after some time.
Might be a nice QoL for some to just add a bulk “Delete All Notifications” button in there that does it, I suppose.
