    I don’t know what god is nor their will. If god wants humanity to destroy the planet and themselves I’ll do what I think is right and oppose their goal. If god wants humanity to live and prosper together in harmony on this wonderful planet I’ll work towards that cause, but not because of them.

    I have a dialectical relationship with all of the parts of myself and the world around me. If god is what some people see in themselves to get through the world I don’t have a problem with it. As long as they don’t use that understanding to corrupt their decisions on how to interact with the rest of the world. It is good to respect that everyone comes from different cultures and backgrounds. Religious beliefs have been and still are used to promote bigotry, but that is not the only thing that they can be used for.

    If one believes that god wants us to work towards a peaceful world with harmony with all people and our biosphere I have no quarrel with them. If they read and experience dialectical materialism and understand that that path towards that harmony requires the transition out of capitalism towards a socialist world, they are communist in my eyes.
