I’ve heard of the book and found places to purchase it but have not found any analysis of it, especially from principled socialists. I wanted to know if anyone had heard of it and could provide insight on it’s quality.
I haven’t. But here I have this https://z-library.im/book/w5pnrPqpJx/socialisms-ignored-success-iranian-islamic-socialism.html
I have not. What is it about?
Ngl my wild guess is, Dialectical Materialism applied to Iran’s context leading to Iranian Islamic Socialism.
Idk how quite it’ll work but I imagine a country like Iran is more likely to have a socialist revolution than some place like UK or Germany
Is it even success at all since Iran is not socialist, nor it claim to be?
Not going to judge a book by its cover but that title doesn’t inspire much confidence. I’m guessing it means Social Democracy’s ignored success.
This is partially the reason I’m asking if anyone has opinions on it. The thesis didn’t inspire much confidence but I didn’t want to judge outright and see if any comrade has experience with it.
