And oh FUCKING man, when you notice someone driving like an ass on the freeway and you pull up 1 car length behind them on an offramp when you just hit the second lane and cruise controlled at 70 the whole time: that shit hits like a drug. Nothing like it.
My favorite is when someone is riding aggressively and tailgating and then try to pass the person they were tailing on the right when there’s perfectly clear lanes to the left and I can slow down just enough to block them from being able to get in front of that other car and force them to slow down to get around the car they were tailgating just to pass on the left.
I used to have a long commute on an old one-way highway with two lanes. Pulling stuff like that was the highlight of most of my days.
The people in F250s cannot handle when two small cars are adjacent to each other going the speed limit.
Oh you want to aggressively pass? Okay I’ll go 1 mph faster than the other car to slowly make a gap. Oh wait actually I’m gonna go 1 mph slower than them, that’s safer.
Most of my driving is on like a 300-lane* highway and I usually try to avoid the 1-2 most leftward lanes (depending on the total number of lanes) if I’m not passing other cars and frequently get over into a slower lane to let cars pass if they’re not tailgating, so that type of behavior feels even more absurd. Unfortunately, it means the situation where you are able to troll so well are much rarer since often there’s also more lanes to even further to the right to pass in if they’re willing to floor it and pass into small gaps between cars while going 80+ mphs (which they are).
I understand your hatred for the F250s being aggressive, but the two of you blocking the freeway are making life miserable for the dozen of us behind them who would like to get to our destinations uneventfully. Please stop playing games with traffic.
