Today’s game is Twilight Princess again. I went and did the owl statues, which honestly. It wasn’t too bad but I didn’t really care for it either. I feel like whenever Zelda games have these fetch quests I never really care for them. It was the same thing with Wind Waker’s triforce pieces.

I ended up making it to the sky temple though, and I think this dungeon is kind of cool. It’s awesome to have a dungeon that’s technically “populated” like this one. All the Ooco really make it feel a little more alive. I do have some questions about their interior design but besides that it’s awesome. Music is awesome. Design is awesome. And hopefully the puzzles are awesome.

All the Cats too are nice. Cats, if it isn’t obvious, are one of my favorite pets. So seeing them all here is nice. I liked the one playing with the yarn ball. It was batting it around in the background when I was talking to Impaz too.

Anyways. Tomorrow I’m gonna try and do the Sky temple in one sitting like I did the Temple of Time. I’m hoping it’s not as tedious as that one, but we’ll see.

Sky temple creeped me tf out as a kid. I spent a lot of time at this specific part of the game playing with cats, exploring around, and procrastinating lol. Good luck with it

There’s that part of the theme with the weird vocal noise that weirds me out I liked it but I’m glad to be out of there

I’ve just started playing this for the first time on my RP6. As a life long fan, I missed out in it, and after hearing many negative things I didn’t seek it out.

    Enjoying it so far though

It definitely has some strong spots. I know I’ve been a little hard on it throughout my playthrough but the characters I feel are where it best shines. Alone with just general design. Art style I think still needs a little fine tuning. Especially that bloom

Lurking your series for a while. Curious about which version of TLP you are playing?

I started mine on GameCube back in the day (only got to the first dusty town), but would like to start again.

I have the GC, Wii, and HD versions. Looking at the PC recomp, however.

Do you recommend a version in particular?

I’m currently playing the PC Recomp. It works great and I love some of the QOL options (plus I can use my PS3 controller). I have played the HD and GC versions though (never finished them) and they both seem good options too if you prefer.

I’ve played all three versions, and haha I almost always quit after getting to Kakariko Village, the said dusty town. I played all the way through for the first time this year on the GC version. That’s what I recommend but would love to do another in HD. It’s a fun game all around but I’ve always found Ocarina, Majoras, and the older games more replayable. BOTW is an obvious standout for the recent ones, but still have yet to complete TOTK.

        Thanks for the recommendation!

Yeah. I got to Kakariko and … life happened.

I’ve yet to play TOTK either.

I’ll go for thr GameCube version, maybe try the recomp then. HD textures!
