    Looks like Carcinus Maenas (European Green Crab). They are invasive here in the united circus. I’ve never seen one with my eyes, but then I don’t care much for beach.

      I am more of a forest person than a beach person, but rarely turn down a chance to stock up on seaweed for the compost and gardens. If they’re the european ones then I’ll feel less bad about the one that found itself near trees unexpectedly =D

        All crabs die. Not every crab lives. He was probably going on a quest. I’m sure of it.
