I’m currently trying out Boost for Lemmy. For some reason, the thumbnails look milky and blurry. They have a kind of light haze over them. I haven’t seen this with other clients. Is there a way to turn this off somewhere? Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find a setting for it. Im not talking about this nsfw pictures.

In another client—I think it was called “Connect”—there’s a feature that combines cross-posts into a single post (or hides the other ones). Is there something similar in Boost for Lemmy?

Do you see an “HD” button in the top right of the image, and does that fix it for you? It might be the data saving settings

I don’t think there is a way to combine crossposts yet

No. Unfortunately not. But it seems to disappear, when i uncheck Settings > Appearance > Cards > Full height images. For some reason, i can now enable the same setting again, without that the milky images comes back. On the other hand, it doesn’t change the height of the images.
