The crash is also due to thinking machines. A piece of tape was left on the pitot tubes so the plane was incorrectly reading airspeed and altitude. They blame humans for leaving the tape there, but Trustees betrayed humanity the moment they allowed a Boeing 757 to think for itself. This is squarely on machines.
