Everywhere you can go requires Money to get there, money to do things, and money to return.
There are no real community places to gather without spending money.

My recent remodeling wasn’t well thought out. In hindsight, deleting every door was a bit of an overreaction to the squeaky hinges. I probably just needed to throw the door away.
Broke, nowhere else to be, it’s hot out there, plus I don’t drive and I live near places like this photo:

reminds me of my time living in MO near / north of Columbia.
I think the user who posted it (https://lemmyverse.link/sh.itjust.works/post/44655083) is on the east coast, though I’d say the combo of road+farmland+trees could be anywhere in the US the same way that Breezewood PA doesn’t feel like a one-state location.
