A Screech Owl flight shot? I’ll definitely take it! 😄

After surviving the neighborhood watch patrol Blue Jay and the determined Red-bellied Woodpecker, I was hoping this little fella would finally launch in my direction… and she did! 😂

I was aiming for a perfectly head-on flight shot, but I’ll happily take this one for now. Captured at 7:35 PM, just as the mosquitoes decided it was dinner time.

Not a perfect head-on frame yet, but for a tiny owl flying through the trees in fading light, I think I did pretty well.

      I assume the photographers are just shooting burst mode or something, but I like to imagine them timing it just perfectly and getting it in a single shutter click. Bam! Got it! 😊
