"Attacked by a territorial Collared Kingfisher, Mummy Owl nictitating membrane mode on.

The small, aggressive kingfisher repeatedly dive-bombs the much larger owl, aiming for the owl’s head to drive the perceived predator away from the kingfisher’s nest.

      It might have already been full! 🙂

      After a certain point they need to wait to expel their pellet before they can eat any more. It’s still a predator, to be fair to the kingfisher, but it may have zero interest in being one at that moment.
