The last thing I need is more crap around the house. I vastly prefer digital, as long as I get the files and can do anything I want with them.

However, one thing that many people are not grasping is that this decisions WILL affect them as well. The moment Sony is the only one where you can get your fix the prices will get higher and stay high because there is nowhere else where to buy PlayStation games. And that’s why everyone should care about this .
I was mainly referring to these people playing on PS actively saying “I don’t care about discs I buy digital”, without realizing they will be affected.
But in general less competition in the space is bad for everyone as the remaining companies feel like they can pull any crap they want.

The problem isn’t the discs, it’s the hardware. You can’t do anything with it. Need open hardware so you can buy games wherever you want.
