    For once i’m gonna have to disagree with Danny, at least on the title. I don’t think this is any kind of “massive victory” for Russia just like i don’t think it was a massive victory for the US when they got the G20 to put out a statement that was in line with the US narrative last year. Because frankly the G20 just isn’t all that important anymore. It’s becoming increasingly irrelevant in the face of real multilateral institutions like BRICS+ and the SCO. In fact it’s a bigger victory for Russia that neither Putin nor Xi bothered to attend, it shows how irrelevant this little club (which was created by the West with the intention of having it be yet another instrument of Western hegemony) really is now.
