    Someone did this in a local appliance manufacturing warehouse a few years back. They somehow did not catch the culprit on any cameras, so they told the entire shift that unless the person who did it owns up to it, the entire shift was fired. No one owned up to it. It was a very shitty day for a lot of innocent people.

      I’m pretty sure retaliation against a group for the actions of an individual is mentioned in the Geneva conventions somewhere.

        They were all employeed through a temp agency, specifically because it meant they could be treated as “lesser”. Less pay, less security, no benefits. Some of them had been there a very long time.

      That’s horrible. I bet a bunch of them knew who it was too, or had a damned good idea. I’d be fuming they didn’t own up to it.
