Is there anything Trotskyists do that isn’t a waste of time?
Because they were cultivates by the empire to destroy communists movements in the west.
It seems like British communists largely destroyed themselves anyway, so I don’t know to what extent Trots were necessary for this.

Entrism is a mere tactic. However some groups made a fetish out of it. That’s the reason why you have trotskyist parties in UK and just groups who were active in the Labour Party.
There was an important split once regarding this matter AFAIK. Trotskyist organisations which didn’t take the “forever entrism” route usually call them self “orthodox”.
I kind of follow the past and actual development, if I am not playing Endless Space 2 or cuddling with pigeons. You can always check out the pigeon community for pictures.
