I get it, he wants to say Christians don’t need the support of people they consider to be beneath them (which, let’s be honest, is most of the rest of us, not just the LGBTQ+ community).
So where are all the people who donate to GoFundMe when a Christian gets in trouble for mistreating one of those groups they consider beneath them? Shouldn’t they be spending their money here as well, to show that their “compassion” is great enough to not need help from “…those other people”?
Or is it really just horseshit?
If I hated gay people and ran a food bank, I would want to accept as much money from gay rights organizations as possible that way they have less money spending towards gay rights. It’s common sense.
But I guess common sense is incompatible with Christianity.
