Yesterday’s vegan dinner leftovers turned vegetarian with eggs and yeast.

The naan didn’t come out right but it’s still edible.

Eggs were free from the back yard.

Cost per person $1.50

    Yeast as in nutritional yeast?

Side note: I just made a pleasant discovery just now. It turns out the local super happened to have Ezekiel bread tucked away in one of their freezer cases. I’d heard about this stuff and thought I’d have to go to the bigger, more distant super to find it. Bought some provolone and plan to make open-face melted cheese sandwiches with it. Will post here if it turns out okay.

I’m having to take a break from rice after accidentally buying 2 bags of russets the other day. But you can believe that when I get a debt in them, I’m definitely going to be making that rice.

What’s the recipe you used for the naan?

After making this recipe today I have to redo the math on it because the hydration level was way off. I’m going to do it again after checking the math and I’ll post it then.

I’m pretty sure I’m doing some kind of curried potatoes tomorrow.
