This post reminded me to return the package by my front door. I have two of these, G502x, and the wheel is so unpleasant feeling. It’s strange because I adored the G604 which had the same type.

That’s good. Libratbag and Piper are a nice try but they’re very “volunteer side project” level effort. First class OS support for modern mouse buttons would be nice.

Will this mean I won’t need solaar for my G502 X?
