With that said, it isn’t the eggs that are the problem in raw dough, it’s the flour.
You can get seriously sick from eating raw flour.

I know the risks. So far I have had zero problems with eating raw cookie dough in small amounts. I’m pretty healthy other than being overweight, so I can probably “tank” a bad batch of cookie dough. And if my immune system starts to go down the shitter, I would stick to the “safe” brands (a few brands are (supposedly) safe to eat raw (and I would check the veracity of that claim if it comes up) or just stop if my immune system was completely out of commission).
