TKO can’t seem to help themselves… WWE Main Event, not SNME, is moving to the right wing “free speech” platform Rumble.
I received this press release:
September 24, 2026 – WWE, part of TKO Group Holdings (NYSE: TKO), and Rumble, a video platform powering human imagination, part of RUM Group Inc. (NASDAQ: RUM), today announced a long-term distribution and content partnership in which Rumble will become the new home of the weekly premium program WWE Main Event.
Beginning October 14, Rumble will stream WWE Main Event every Wednesday starting at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, with each episode available at Rumble.com/WWE as part of Rumble Sport’s lineup on Rumble.com and Rumble’s mobile and connected TV apps.
“WWE Main Event will be a key pillar in Rumble’s expanding sports programming lineup.” said Claudio Ramolo, Rumble’s Chief Content Officer. “WWE content has consistently ranked among the most-watched programming on television, top streaming platforms and social media for decades — a rare combination that resonates with both fans and advertisers alike. This partnership reflects Rumble’s ongoing commitment to bringing our users the very best in sports, entertainment and beyond.”
“Serving a digital-first audience is a core focus for WWE, and Rumble has built an accessible platform that is committed to delivering premium sports and entertainment programming,” said Alex Varga, EVP, WWE.
WWE Main Event features matches that take place weekly ahead of Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown from venues around the world. Since its debut in October 2012, WWE Main Event has showcased several of the biggest WWE Superstars from Raw, SmackDown and NXT, including Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Charlotte Flair, Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton and more. The deal underscores Rumble’s continued push to grow its audience by bringing more premium sports content to the platform.
So… if you are one of the half million people that watch this show and are willing to go to Rumble to see it, I just want you to know there are Morphe patches for it, do with that as you will.
I wouldn’t be surprised if this move is to draw unsuspecting fed fans into extreme right wing propaganda from their advertisers. It’s unfortunately true that wrestling fans aren’t perceived to be particularly intelligent by the population at large, and are probably being considered easy targets for thinly-veiled (theoretical) plans such as this.

Are there really die hard Main Event fans that are going to follow it to a new platform? I don’t know why I’m even thinking about the viewer count, I’m sure if there was a guy willing to give TKO a billion dollars to be the only one to get to watch WWE they’d jump on it.

You would think there aren’t any die hard fans but then I think about when I was young and watching things like WWF Shotgun Saturday Night and WWF Superstars because sometimes we didn’t have cable and I wanted my wrestling. So, I can imagine some people are out there like that today and will go wherever the shows are, although YouTube highlights are right there these days.
I didn’t think about kids watching it. If anything, that makes it worse that it’s going to Rumble.

anyway the hill i’ll die on is that tony should turn all out into an annual event by renting out queen street and turning it into a block party like the 2000s era mmvas.
JCW is doing a storyline where Jasmin St Claire has been impregnated by the very large Mr. Happy. It is 100% pure Vince Russo. Dude hasn’t been in the company for a year and he’s already got his somebody’s pregnant nonsense going on.
I was kinda hoping Russo would be a good fit for JCW and maybe learn from past missteps, but it appears I was wrong (at least about the second part).
There are some fun storylines going, but a lot feel very classic Russo. They also brought back jWo which isn’t the worst thing. It’s just very Russo. Dani No being Barnabus’ daughter even though they’ve both been in JCW forever was very Russo. It’s still fun because everything The Outbreak does is fun! It just doesn’t make much sense.
Kokane and Big Vito was a good storyline. Kokane and Steven Flow is another good one. The Outbreak getting addicted to everything.

I’m going to Collision on Oct. 3rd. Hoping to cross more wrestlers off my bucket list.
Nice, I always think I’ll go the next time they come though my area, but never do. It’s at least in part because commentary helps my focus stay on the wrestling. Without it I’m pretty sure I’d spend too much time looking at the lighting rig and watching the ringside crew.
My BFAM (Brother From Another Mother) is the opposite, he quickly gets bored watching wrestling on tv, but gets super into it when we’re there in person.
Because it’s rare for me to be able to attend shows, I really focus on trying to take in everything.
To give you an idea of how long it’s been since we went to a show, he was very disappointed to find out that “Scissor me, Daddy Ass!” is no longer a thing.
Jake Hagar lost another power slap match. He starts bleeding from the eye, so heads up if you want to check it out, because it’s gross.

When I first saw the headline I was hoping he just got knocked loopy and maybe fell down. Since then I saw Dana White quoted as saying it’s probably the worst injury he’s seen which doesn’t sound good. Hagar is a doofus and Power Slap is dumb as fuck, but I don’t want to see the guy loose an eye.

It’s hard to keep track of all the people Ric want to sue. I’m not sure which is a worse outcome, if he was taken advantage of, or if he just forgot what he agreed to.
