I’m a little perplexed. Representative Burchett claimed in the meeting that NASA stated they don’t have any classified information. However, I believe in the UAP Amendment (correct me if I’m wrong), there is language requiring NASA to turn over classified material relating to UAP.

    Edit:

I just did a search through the amendment, and there is no mention of NASA specifically.

Specifically NASA? By my recollection, the amendment targets every department in the government equally

My apologies; you are correct. I just did a search through the amendment, and there is no mention of NASA specifically. I’ll edit my comment. Thank you.

I think it makes sense why it was closed doors now. They sent people that either don’t know the depths of NASA’s research on UAP or were willing to lie about it. They don’t seem to want to answer questions outside of the report itself.

With as much imagery and data collection as NASA is involved with, it’d be bizarre that they didn’t capture something that the DoD wouldn’t want let out. Even if some of it is experimental DoD craft, NASA wouldn’t be privy to what it is. Just that they captured something that should be classified. To NASA it would by definition be UAP. Of course, it’s hard to confirm that without transparency from these groups.
